Bookkeeper – QuickBooks
Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid – 1 day onsite per week)

About the Role
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper with proven QuickBooks experience to support our finance operations in a dynamic staffing and recruiting environment. This is a contract role with the potential to transition into a permanent position after 3–6 months based on performance and business needs.
You’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting payroll and billing processes, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
What You’ll Do
- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks (Online or Desktop)
- Process accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll entries
- Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting
- Collaborate with recruiting and operations teams to ensure accurate billing and contractor payments
- Maintain organized financial records and assist with audits as needed
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial workflows
What You’ll Bring
- At least 1 year of bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
- Experience in staffing, recruiting, or contingent workforce environments is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across departments
- Familiar with ADP RUN, Employee Navigator, and VMS Systems
- Comfort working in a hybrid setup with one day onsite weekly
