Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and prioritize workloads for distributed software engineering teams, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of projects and enhancements.
  • Participate in backlog grooming sessions to refine requirements and clarify technical needs.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and career development support to engineers at all levels.
  • Conduct and participate in code reviews to maintain coding standards and improve code quality.
  • Facilitate team retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure timely application of library updates, maintenance tasks, and security patches.
  • Join DevOps stand-ups to support deployment readiness and operational alignment.
  • Attend senior engineering meetings to coordinate priorities and share progress updates.
  • Collaborate with production support teams to analyze top issues and implement long-term solutions.
  • Maintain adherence to SDLC processes and ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
  • Lead daily stand-ups and contribute to the codebase when needed to unblock teams or support critical initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong expertise in JavaScript and hands-on experience with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js).
  • Proven experience leading, mentoring, and developing software engineers.
  • Working knowledge of message queue technologies (e.g., RabbitMQ or similar).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (preferred).
  • Experience with AWS cloud services, SQL Server, and microservice architectures (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Docker containerization (preferred).

Education & Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering management.

We are seeking a dynamic Vice President of Technology to lead strategic initiatives that modernize infrastructure and business applications while driving operational excellence. This executive role requires a proven leader with financial services experience and a passion for innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute long-term infrastructure and application modernization strategies aligned with organizational growth.
  • Collaborate with senior business leaders to translate priorities into scalable, future-ready technology solutions.
  • Advance operational excellence through standardization, automation, and proactive capacity planning.

Infrastructure Oversight

  • Direct architecture, deployment, and management of on-premises, colocation, cloud, and hybrid environments.
  • Ensure reliability, resilience, and high performance of core systems and networks.
  • Oversee disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and data center operations.

Business Applications Management

  • Manage vendor-supported applications, including core banking, LOS, and CRM platforms.

Requirements

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership in IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, or technology operations.
  • Financial services or credit union experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (NCUA, FFIEC, GLBA, SOC 2) and vendor due diligence.
  • Proven success with cloud migrations, SaaS implementations, and modernization initiatives.
Certifications
  • ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or Azure Solutions Architect highly desirable.
  • Project management certification or equivalent experience managing enterprise-level projects.

LOCATION: 100% on site in Bartow, FL

JOB TITLE: Network and Systems Support Tech

DURATION: ASAP – June 2026 with potential renewal, Monday–Friday

PAY: $30-$33/hr

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a Network or Systems Support role within an enterprise environment
  • Proven experience configuring and troubleshooting VLANs, Layer 2/3 switching, and Wireless Access Points
  • At least 1 year of experience managing Virtual Machines (VMs) within Microsoft Hyper-V or a similar hypervisor
  • Direct experience with "Rack and Stack" – installing physical servers, switches, and UPS systems, including basic knowledge of structured cabling (Cat6, Fiber) and labeling standards
  • Experience managing Active Directory objects, including creating Security Groups and managing NTFS/Share permissions using the principle of Least Privilege
  • Familiarity with Windows Server 2019/2022 and basic command-line navigation
  • Demonstrated ability to use tools like Ping, Traceroute, and Nslookup to isolate connectivity issues between the desktop and the data center
  • Experience creating or maintaining technical documentation, such as network diagrams (Visio/Lucidchart) or knowledge base articles
  • Experience identifying hardware failures (e.g., RAID battery failures, bad SFP modules, or failed power supplies)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field
